Discover our YMCA charity shops listed below and find new and second-hand clothes, books, DVDs, furniture and more.

Don’t forget your Gift Aid! When you first donate to our stores, please speak to a member of staff and ask sign-up to Gift Aid.

Gift Aid helps us to maximise your donations, by being able to claim an extra 25p to every £1.

We can collect furniture and some larger electrical items for free. Please get in touch with your nearest YMCA shop to find out if we can accept your donation.

Please note that we only accept items in god condition and will only refuse a collection for legal, safety, or quality reasons. All upholstered items must have a fire label attached.

If your workplace would like to support our cause through donations, there are two easy ways to get involved. You can either set up a donation point in your office for regular drop‑offs, or organise a designated ‘donation day’ where everyone brings items in at once for immediate collection.

We aim to make donating as simple as possible. If you’re interested in either option, please email us at YMCA England & Wales—we’d be happy to help make the process smooth and rewarding for your workplace.

Did you know we have a local clothing bank?

Our clothing bank is located in our Northampton Road store so pop along to drop off your donations!
