CEO Sleepout: Meet the YMCA South Midlands team

YMCA South Midlands is taking part in CEO Sleepout events in Milton Keynes this November, with many members of our leadership team giving up their beds to help raise money for young people experiencing homelessness.

The events will take place at Stadium MK on Thursday 12 November 2026.

CEO Sleepout is a national charity that brings business leaders together to tackle homelessness, raising money for frontline charities and services supporting people in their communities. Participants swap their beds for sleeping bags, using a night outdoors to encourage donations and greater awareness of homelessness. Whilst this can not replicate the fear and danger those experiencing homelessness face, it can help us to open up conversations about how we can support those in need into stability and live happy, healthy, independent lives.

For YMCA South Midlands, the motivation is the young people at the heart of our work. Every young person deserves somewhere safe to call home, people who believe in them and the opportunity to build a positive future.

We are incredibly proud that so many of our leadership team are taking part. We are privileged to be led by such a passionate group of people, whose care for the young people we serve shines through in their actions.

By committing their time and energy to these events, our leaders are putting that compassion into practice. Their involvement reflects a commitment that extends beyond their day-to-day roles, and a determination to help young people access the support and opportunities they deserve.

Our team and our supporters also sleeping out will be united by the same purpose: raising money, starting conversations and encouraging others to support young people experiencing homelessness.

To everyone taking part: thank you for your compassion, your commitment and your willingness to step forward. We are proud to have you leading YMCA South Midlands and standing alongside the young people we have the privilege to serve.
